TOMEI has grown to a powerful contributor in the second largest export market for gold jewellery in the world. Under a vastly experienced board of directors, TOMEI now employs over 300 staff. Its manufacturing arm, TOMEI Gold & Jewellery Manufaturing Sdn Bhd, clinched the Ninth position in the prestigios 'Golden Bull Award 2003', organized by Nanyang Siang Pau in July 2003. The Golden Bull Award 2003 manisfested TOMEI's efforts in design and quality development of the lines of jewellery collection it carries.
TOMEI sails to a greater height when acquires the "Superbrand" status in Malaysia. The Malaysian Superbrands Council selects its award winners based on stringent criteria such as market presence brand longevity and overall market acceptance. This award set the key milestone for TOMEI as one of the main players in the local retail market. The timely recognition not only boosts TOMEI's credibility in the local consumer market, but also further strengthens its confidence to look beyond.
At the retail front, TOMEI was awarded the Fair Price Award 2003 and 2004 / 2005 tenure by the panel of secretariat from the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumers Affairs. The "Fair Price" status further assures it customers of the value it offers to consumers.
