| The company was established in 1991. Initially, it was known as DPI Marketing Sdn. Bhd., but in 1994, the company was re-named DPI Chemicals Sdn. Bhd. The change in name was initiated so as to better reflect the business activities of the company as the company distributes aerosol paints and petroleum-based chemical solvents which are used mainly in the Paint and Coating, Printing and Packaging, and Automotive Refinishing industries. As the volume of business done by the company increased significantly over the years, 2 branches were set up, one in Ipoh, and the other in Prai in order to serve its customers better. These 2 branches served as warehouse cum distribution centre for the state of Perak and Penang as well as other northern states of Malaysia. |
