About Us |
| KWF Food Industries Sdn Bhd | Kong Wooi Fong Tea Merchants Sdn.Bhd., a member of KWF Group of Companies, was established by Mr. Liew Da Zhi in the year 1928. The Company started off trading in tobacco leaves, medicine, local products, remittance and teas at Jalan Cheng Lock. The Company was later moved to No.72, Jalan Sultan, Kuala Lumpur and specialized in the business of teas.
The Company trades most of its fine Chinese tea leaves, black tea dust from countries like China, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Papua New Guineas etc. With the past experience in the field of tea business, the Company has successfully gained the support of tea traders to promote their teas throughout the region.
In the year of 2000, the Company has acquired the property on the existing place of business. With experience from four generations of the family, the Company has now developed well to a fine tea enterprise supplying high quality teas and earned its reputation throughout the region.
