Oncoblast

Product Description
Cancer

Cancer is a class of diseases or disorders characterized by excessive, uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells, which invade and destroy other tissues. It develops in almost any organ or tissue of the body and may affect people of all ages, but risk tends to increase with age. It is one of the major causes of fatality in many developed countries.
There are many types of cancer, and most can be treated and some cured. This depends on the specific type of cancer, location, and stage. It is commonly treated with a combination of surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. If left unattended, it may eventually cause illness and death, but this is not always the result.

Tobacco smoke, radiation, alcohol and certain viruses are linked to various forms of cancer. There is no known way to entirely avoid the disease, although through a careful regiment of treatments and diet monitoring, it can be reduced.

According to the National Cancer Registry 2002 report, there were over 26,000 new cancer cases diagnosed in Peninsular Malaysia and Malaysian women have a higher incidence of cancer (55 per cent versus 45 per cent) than men.

One in 5.5 Malaysians is expected to get cancer in their lifetime (1 in 4 for Chinese, 1 in 5 for Indians and 1 in 7 for Malays.

The most common cancer in Malaysian males is lung cancer, followed closely by nasopharyngeal or nose cancer. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among Malaysian women from all ethnicities and it is also the most common cause of cancer death among women in Malaysia.

Dietary factors are responsible for about 30 per cent cancers. Saturated fats are associated with breast, uterus, ovary and colon cancers. Low fibre diets cause colon cancers. High intake of pickles predisposes people to stomach cancer.

Friendly Bacteria

Friendly bacteria are well known for its health benefits to human body especially on its anti-cancer properties. Boston University researchers discovered that ingestion of probiotic can detoxify the carcinogenic toxins due to excess consumption of meat. (American Journal of Clinical Nutrition)

In an animal study in Nebraska University of USA, 75 percent of the animals tested showed slower tumor growth when fed yogurt containing live bacterial cultures. In addition, the white blood cells of the immune system and its activity also improve significantly. (International Symposium, France 1989)

Japan research indicates that Acidophilus Lactobacilli not only improves digestive power, but also heightens the immune system, and energizes the body. In addition, a strain called L. Casei strongly inhibits the growth of cancer tumors in mice, and significantly prolongs the life span of the mice when combined with standard cancer drugs such as cyclophosphamide, and 5-fluorouracil.

Blastolysin

Why do friendly bacteria possess such strong anti-cancer properties? The secret is finally revealed when extensive research and experiments have clearly indicated that blastolysin, the glycopeptide extracted from cell membrane of friendly bacteria could effectively exert antiproliferative and cytotoxic effects on cancer cell lines especially on non-small cell lung cancer A549, breast cancer MDA-MB231, liver Adenocarcinoma SKHep-1 and acute myelogenous leukemia Kgla. Further clinical research findings also showed that blastolysin could significantly reduce the regeneration potential of cancer cells and enhance immune system without side effects ( Bogdanov IG, et al 1977; 84)
In addition, blastolysin extracted from the cell membrane of a species of friendly bacteria known as LC90-18 has been shown to increase the number of macrophages in the bone marrow of cancer patients. Owing to the strong apoptotic properties of macrophages, LC90-18 has become a hot topic in the field of cancer research.
Scientists also discovered that blastolysin extracted from another special strain of acidophilus called D’AHI, is able to kill cancer cells in-vitro up to 94%. (Mnjunath Exp Biol.1989;27)
Research done by a group of researchers in Swinburne University, Australia indicated that Lactobacillus gasseri ATCC, a species of friendly bacteria extracted from human body, posses high potency in killing cancer cells as well as inhibiting cancer cells metastasis ( Cellular Health Sciences, Cancer).

What is Oncoblast™?

Oncoblast™ is a mixed botanical drink containing the extracts of 180 types of friendly bacteria, including 23 types of acidophilus such as L. Acidophilus、 L. Bulgaricus、 LC90-18、 D’AHI and different strains of Lactobacillus. With the use of both aerobic and anaerobic microbial fermentation technology, scientists working behind Oncoblast have extracted an active cancer cell growth inhibitor from the cell membrane of the friendly bacteria, known as blastolysin. According to scientific literature, blastolysin has demonstrated a strong anti-proliferation and cell death induction potential on lung cancer, breast cancer, liver cancer and acute leukemia in vitro. This all natural oral supplement is deemed pivotal in establishing a strong immune system for optimal health protection.
