Chemical Property : PAC is an acidic liquid which hydrolyses and forms aluminium hydroxide containing precipitate when diluted beyond a particular level. Since aluminium compounds are amphoteric in nature, the solubility of aluminium depends on the pH value.
Application of PAC : PAC is a highly efficient inorganic coagulating agents used primarily in wastewater treatment.
