PRODUCT INFORMATION
Khemix 105 Rust Convertor is scientifically designed for use as a primer or topcoat for rusted steel and iron surface. It is a synthetic, water based resin emulsion product, safe – practicall non-toxic, non-flammable. Converts and primes in one simple operation, replaces the need for conventional primers when used with most industrial finish topcoats.
Khemix 105 Rust Convertor it can stop rust and converts rust into a protective, permanent, paintable hard black coating, save costly parts and equipment form deterioration. Khemix 105 react chemically with rust to form an iron complex while simultaneously acting as a polymer coating that prevents further rusting of the treated surface. Effective even on damp rusty mental.
Khemix 105 Rust Convertor work best on very rusty metals, the more rust the better the results, Khemix 105 will removed loosed rust, scale, grease, and oil thoroughly, wire brush the area if rust appears to be scaly or flaking. Do not brush down to shiny metal surface. The rust is required chemically reaction. It work effective on the warmer surface or should be at temperature 40 ° F (4.4 ° C), surface can be wet or dry.

Allow 24 hours for curing before coating with latex paint and 48 hours before coating with enamel or lacquer or using automotive putty or fiber glass fillers.
APPLICATION: Apply a uniform coating to rusty surface, wetting the surface thoroughly. For large surface apply form bottom up. Keep working the area with the brush or roller and it will react chemically with rust, once applied, it will continue to react until dry (about 1 hour) and result in a shiny black paintable coating. A second coat will insure total coverage and extended protection, wait one hour between coat. To clean tools wash with water.
