Established as a partnership business back in 1976, Kong Wah Industrial Sewing Machine grew quickly as the garment and apparel manufacturing industry in Malaysia flourished. In 1984, the business was incorporated as a private limited company and changed its name to Konwa Industrial Sewing Machine (M) Sdn. Bhd.
Since then, Konwa has diversified its product range to include machinery and equipment for the automotive industry (car seat and upholstery), furniture industry (sofa, mattresses, etc), shoes and footwear industry and other stitch related industries.
