The company started as a small proprietorship of trading of breads about 20 years ago. The brand name of “Family” was first used in 1985. In 1989 Family Bakery Sdn. Bhd. was formed to manufacture fresh buns and breads. Hence it reduces the business risk of depending on third party manufacturer for the supplies of buns and breads
With its own manufacturing, the business has achieved excellent results. In 1999 new company called Daily Fresh Sdn. Bhd. was formed to rationalised the business divisions becoming the main marketing and trading arm, while Family Bakery will concentrate on its production. With the injection of new capital and technical knowledge, the group is now relocated to a new factory, situated at the strategic town of Meru.
