Incorporated in 19th August 1997, Halagel (M) Sdn. Bhd. (Halagel) is the sole importer and distributor for Halal Gelatin, Halal Empty Hard Gelatin Capsules and Di-calcium Phosphate.
Halagel is today, a leading supplier and distributor of Halal gelatin ingredients for food and pharmaceutical manufactures in Malaysia. Halagel has also broaden its business to overseas markets to cope with increasing demand for Halal products. It is the only company to be recognized by the Islamic Development Department of Malaysia (Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia, JAKIM), the Assessment Institute for Food, Drugs and Cosmetics - Indonesia Council of Ulama (LPPOM-MUI) and Islamic Central Committee of Thailand (ICCT) for gelatin and empty hard gelatin capsules.
