About Us |
Vit Makanan(K.L.) Sdn. Bhd. | We, Vit Makanan (Alor Setar) Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated at 1st November 1975 in Alor Setar. After two years of business in Alor Setar, our Company, which was expanding rapidly, moved the whole operation to the new factory cum office located in Shah Alam on 10th September 1977, and changed its name to Vit Makanan (K.L.) Sdn. Bhd.
Our Company rented a small factory with the area of 8,000 square feet in Shah Alam to accommodate its Taiwanese food-manufacturing machine. By 1978, our Company realized that, the 8,000 square feet factory was too small for the expanding business. To facilitate the growth of our product’s demand and rapid expansion of our production, our Company had bought a 33,000 square feet factory in Selayang. Our Company made steady progress in the intervening years until 26th January 1998.
A fire occurred on 26th January 1998, halted the production of the factory, destroying almost everything and efforts, wish were accomplished since the incorporation. Nevertheless, the idea of reconstructing the factory was earnest among our Directors, believing that the prospect of the noodles industry will continue to flourish.
To ensure the factory will be operable at the shortest time frame possible, our Company planned to build a whole new factory, and eventually, exactly a month after the unfortunate incident, i.e. 26th February 1998, our company had purchased a piece of 105,000 square feet industrial land in Rawang for the construction of new factory. After a year of harsh and intensive construction work, a 64,000 square feet factory with a four-storey block building was erected on the purchased land. The new plant and machinery were shipped from Japan, and installed, followed with scheduled test run of this machinery. The success of the test run commenced the official supply of our noodles. At 26th January 1999, Vit Makanan (K.L.) Sdn. Bhd. officially resumed its operation.
